To Hidden your chat, please follow these steps : 1. First open the Viber and go to Chat screen 2. Find the chat you want to hide 3. In Android devices: Press and hold the chat (A dialogue box will appear with two options- Delete chat and Hide chat ) <1701 Hidden Chat> 4. Now click on Hide chat. (Another dialogue box will appear asking you to set the 4-digit secret PIN. <1702 Hidden Chat> 5. Enter the 4-digit secret PIN and you will no longer see that chat/message in Chat screen <1703 Hidden Chat> <1704 Hidden Chat>

To find Hidden chat, please follow these steps : 1. First open the Chats Screen 2. Go to search bar and enter 4-digit PIN (You can even enter the name of the chat) <1801 Find Hidden Chat> 3. To unhide your screet message, please follow these steps : 1. First open the Chat 2. Swipe left or Select the gear icon (which is on the top-right corner of the chat screen) <1901  Un-hide message> 3. Scroll down and find Unhide this chat option <1902  Un-hide message> 4. Now select ‘ Unhide this chat ’ option and enter that 4-digit PIN or scan your Touch ID <1903 Un-hide message> 5. Chat will once again be visible in your chats screen.

It is used to define who you trust and verify their identity.  Authentication tells Viber that you verify that the person you are communicating with is who they say they are and that the phone number connected to Viber is in the right hands. To authenticate a contact, follow these steps: 1. Open the chat info screen with the user you want to authenticate (swipe to the left side of your screen) 2. Read the code to each other and confirm that the code is the same 6. Click on " Trust this contact " 7. The lock icon will turn green to confirm successful authentication

Viber introduces Secret Messages! Send photos and videos in your private or group chats that can only be viewed for a set time-limit. Make a photo a secret message by setting a time limit for how long a photo you send can be viewed for.  To set limits time on screet message, follow these steps : 1. Viber Video recording using limited time, just 1 - 3 minutes. You will see a countdown appear at the top of the screen if you are nearing the 3-minute time limit for video recordings.
